Thorpe Woods Shoot 05/11/2006

We had a surprisingly dry, bright and not to cold for November day, This ensured a good turn out for a fully booked course. Well, this time I decided to shoot rather than marshal. So lads, you laid a terrific course which I enjoyed shooting a lot. Thanks also go to the tea tent crew for all those mugs of splosh and pork & apple burgers I consumed

The course was 2 arrows only and twice round 21 targets, all of which were at shoot able distances for those of us who eschew sights, while the compound shooters in my group seemed to be having fun estimating distances and bouncing arrows off trees into the target!
