My Alfa had to go, will have to get another one some time

Alfa Romeos, a marque that gets me every time. The history, the machines, the style...

Anyway I learned to drive in a 'Sud, Later on I had a Bertone GTV 2ltr in purple & rust, which I eventually reversed into a tree at about 50mph, so that was the end of that. Next one was a 75 twin spark in Alfa Red. This addressed all the problems in the GTV Clutch, gearshift, rust but I was never convinced about the looks; a lovely car to drive tho' handled & fast enuff to be fun.

I always wanted one of the new GTVs, from the day they came out, then they put the V6 into it. I am not taken with the Spider (sorry), but the coupe looks really stunning to me. A 'Cup' came up - No. 137, 2 years old and only 10k miles! It had to be mine...
